October 27th. Today is the official day that my 1 year long journey starts. One very hard and emotional goodbye at LAX airport and Two tiring flights later and I landed myself in Stuttgart, Germany. My host mom met me at Frankfurt airport and from there we took the train and then the bus to the house or the” flat” as they call it. I got to meet the two boys that I will be caring for as well as my host dad. Stuttgart is beautiful and my host family is as nice as can be. As of now a nice nights sleep is definitely needed so I will be ending this blog to do just that. I’ll be giving more details about my host family as well as things I have seen here in Germany so far, so stay tuned for more about this journey of mine!
